Objective: The objective is to make the students study and understand basic principles of combustion and chemical kinetics. Objective: The objective is to make the students study thermodynamics of combustion process and calculate adiabatic flame temperature.THERMODYNAMICS OF COMBUSTION: Enthalpy of formation –Heating value of fuel –Heat of reaction-Heat of combustionμrp, μhp-determination of heating value of fuels(LCV,HCV)-Combustion reaction Temperature –chemical equilibrium, Equilibrium composition of gaseous mixtures. Objective: The objective is to study flame propagation, factors effecting the flame propagation of various kinds of fuels.
